The Holy one
11×14
The holy one was finished on Lion’s Gate 8/8/22 she appeared on my canvas while creating another image. I immediately scraped my idea and began listening as she told me what she wanted me to share. I painted until I was told to stop. She is the messenger of hope. Her magical and mysterious appearance on my canvas was documented on my TT account. She has touched many lives from the United States to Ireland. The original will stay with me and only a limited number of prints will be available. I hope her magic touches you like it has me and others update 11/1/2023 All Saints Day I learned of Saint Sarah in the last seven years while learning about my Romani heritage. Mysteriously she came to me through a painting I created about a year ago and I heard, The Holy One, whispered while deciding a name. A childhood friend reached out to me after seeing the painting and said her name was Sarah. Without understanding why and completely confused, I said, ok that’s her name and while searching for a Sarah, I named the painting, The Holy One, until I could discover who this Sarah was….nothing I saw felt right but the name Sarah kept popping up everywhere so I knew there was a significance to this name and for a year I kept the name Sarah to myself but just knew I’d discover who she was. I found her last month in my google photos while cleaning up space in my storage. In 2017 I had come across information about Saint Sarah the patron saint of gypsies and I screenshot the info to go back and research later. I completely forgot about it until I saw it staring at me on my photo memories last month. It was like being hit by lightning when I saw it. I KNEW instantly this was the Sarah my friend suggested and the holy one I heard at the same time. I’d like to honor her on All Saints Day. She has touched so many people since she came into my life and she truly is the messenger of hope.
